Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2019 Christies in Dubai held the auction Middle Eastern Modern & Contemporary Art, which included the work Action 79. West Bank town of Jericho: Israeli troops order arrested Palestinian prisoners to strip before loading them onto a military truck. 14 March 2006. by Reza Aramesh. It changed hands for a price of USD 18,750.00 (€ 16,699.32) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Reza Aramesh - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Action 105., which sold at auction in October 2019 for GBP 32,500.00 (€ 37,697.67).

West Bank town of Jericho: Israeli troops order arrested Palestinian prisoners to strip before loading them onto a military truck. 14 March 2006. von Reza Aramesh zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 16.699,32) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Reza Aramesh mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Action 105. beobachtet, die im Oktober 2019 für GBP 32.500,00 (€ 37.697,67) versteigert wurde.
