In October 2010 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Starfish and Beach Vines by Reuben Tam. The »bidding war« ended at USD 2,375.00 (€ 1,709.37), 32% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Reuben Tam - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Seacliff, Dawn, which sold at auction in October 2010 for USD 5,250.00 (€ 3,778.61).

Im Oktober 2010 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Starfish and Beach Vines von Reuben Tam zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 2.375,00 (€ 1.709,37) und damit 32% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Reuben Tam mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Seacliff, Dawn beobachtet, die im Oktober 2010 für USD 5.250,00 (€ 3.778,61) versteigert wurde.
