In March 2003 Christies in London held the auction TWENTIETH CENTURY BRITISH ART, which included the work Palm Tree in a Landscape by Renos Loizou. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,645.00 (€ 2,382.99), 37% above the upper estimate. With this result, Palm Tree in a Landscape is even the most expensive work of art by Renos Loizou that we have observed at auctions so far.
