Auction result misses estimated price range
In November last year a collector was able to acquire the work Cesenatico sur l'Adriatique by Renée Théobald for USD 510.00 (€ 494.04). This price was achieved in the auction European Art at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts and was even below the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Renée Théobald have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dans le port de St. Tropez in May this year with an auction result of USD 2,805.00 (€ 2,632.81).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Cesenatico sur l'Adriatique von Renée Théobald für USD 510,00 (€ 494,04) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion European Art bei Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Renée Théobald auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dans le port de St. Tropez im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.805,00 (€ 2.632,81).
