Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2011 Sothebys in Toronto held the auction Important Canadian Art, which included the work La Surprise by René Jean Richard. The price achieved of CAD 18,000.00 (€ 13,117.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CAD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Other works by René Jean Richard have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2012 the work Trappeurs En Forêt was auctioned for CAD 24,000.00 (€ 18,755.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2011 führte Sothebys in Toronto die Auktion Important Canadian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Surprise von René Jean Richard zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CAD 18.000,00 (€ 13.117,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CAD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von René Jean Richard konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2012 die Arbeit Trappeurs En Forêt für CAD 24.000,00 (€ 18.755,10) versteigert.
