Auction result fails to reach estimate
This work of art by René Holm could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in October this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern art and design auction, the work Study for “Trying to find a place for the night” changed hands for DKK 2,200.00 (€ 294.78) - just shy of the DKK 4,000.00 estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by René Holm achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled, 2006–2007 in November this year with an auction result of DKK 23,000.00 (€ 3,084.80).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Dieses Kunstwerk von René Holm konnte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern art and design wechselte die Arbeit Study for “Trying to find a place for the night” für DKK 2.200,00 (€ 294,78) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit den Schätzpreis von DKK 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von René Holm erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled, 2006–2007 im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 23.000,00 (€ 3.084,80).
