Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of GBP 960.00 (€ 1,606.71), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by René Gruau achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poster Design For Moulin Rouge, 1983 in December 2008 with an auction result of USD 86,500.00 (€ 62,145.27).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 960,00 (€ 1.606,71) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von René Gruau erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poster Design For Moulin Rouge, 1983 im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 86.500,00 (€ 62.145,27).
