Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Il mondo visto e analizzato da un impiegato... by Renato Volpini was auctioned at Il Ponte in December 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,100.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Renato Volpini - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Il primo cosmonauta nell'universo stratificato dei mistificatori del sesso, which sold at auction in May 2003 for EUR 3,472.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Il mondo visto e analizzato da un impiegato... von Renato Volpini kam im Dezember 2016 bei Il Ponte zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.100,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Renato Volpini mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Il primo cosmonauta nell'universo stratificato dei mistificatori del sesso beobachtet, die im Mai 2003 für EUR 3.472,00 versteigert wurde.
