Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Nudo - Ombra di Allen Jones by Renato Guttuso for EUR 26,000.00. This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary Art at Christies in Milan and was even below the estimate range of EUR 30,000.00 – 40,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Renato Guttuso have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Aranceto Notturno in March last year with an auction result of GBP 170,100.00 (€ 201,672.69).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Nudo - Ombra di Allen Jones von Renato Guttuso für EUR 26.000,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Mailand erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Renato Guttuso auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Aranceto Notturno im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 170.100,00 (€ 201.672,69).
