Here, the upper estimate of GBP 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 11,250.00 (€ 14,380.85). Admittedly, works by Reinier Nooms have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dutch Ships Awaiting Repair On The Ij At Amsterdam in December 2013 with an auction result of GBP 80,500.00 (€ 96,829.02).

Die Arbeit A Calm Coastal Landscape With Shipping And Figures von Reinier Nooms kam im April 2016 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 11.250,00 (€ 14.380,85) einen neuen Besitzer.
