In February 2001 Christies in London held the auction BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES, which included the work A lady fetching water by Reginald Granville Eves. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 282.00 (€ 441.83), 41% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Reginald Granville Eves achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Nymph Beside A Pool in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,211.82).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 282,00 (€ 441,83) und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Reginald Granville Eves erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Nymph Beside A Pool im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.211,82).
