Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2013 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Reem Al Faisal for USD 2,500.00 (€ 1,839.05). This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary Arab,Iranian and Turkish Art Part II at Christies in Dubai and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Reem Al Faisal have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (from Muslims in America) in May this year with an auction result of USD 9,450.00 (€ 8,869.91).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2013 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Reem Al Faisal für USD 2.500,00 (€ 1.839,05) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Arab,Iranian and Turkish Art Part II bei Christies in Dubai erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Reem Al Faisal auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (from Muslims in America) im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 9.450,00 (€ 8.869,91).
