In December 2006 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Modern Art, which included the work Côme, Maissons Au Bord Du Lac by Raymond Thibésart. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 863.00. Admittedly, works by Raymond Thibésart have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cherry Blossoms in August 2010 with an auction result of USD 5,625.00 (€ 4,427.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2006 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Côme, Maissons Au Bord Du Lac von Raymond Thibésart zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 863,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Raymond Thibésart auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cherry Blossoms im August 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.625,00 (€ 4.427,74).
