Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work 'You can cross Cecil Parkinson off the queer list, sir!' by Raymond Allen Jackson for GBP 120.00 (€ 174.06). This price was achieved in the auction The Sunday Picture Sale - British and Continental oils, at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 200.00 – 300.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Raymond Allen Jackson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Really! I've always wanted to meet a financial journalist! in November 2018 with an auction result of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,509.58).
