In December 2010 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Paintings of Provence, which included the work La Corniche Ensoleillee by Raymond Allègre. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,295.00 53% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Raymond Allègre have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Pont Neuf in July this year with an auction result of GBP 10,880.00 (€ 12,693.66).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 53 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2010 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Paintings of Provence durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Corniche Ensoleillee von Raymond Allègre zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.295,00 und damit 53% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Raymond Allègre auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Pont Neuf im Juli diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.880,00 (€ 12.693,66).
