In November 2007 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Sale Day Session, which included the work Astropez, from the series 'Serie de las lunas' by Raquel Forner. The »bidding war« ended at USD 15,000.00 (€ 10,212.42), 67% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Raquel Forner; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Memoria ancestral No. 1 sold at auction in November 2012 with the realized price of USD 20,000.00 (€ 15,372.79).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 10.212,42) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
