However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Raphael von Ambros - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Austrianthe Baker'S Shop, Cairo, which sold at auction in April 2018 for GBP 162,500.00 (€ 185,070.19).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 81.250,00 (€ 90.662,52) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 63%. Für andere Arbeiten von Raphael von Ambros mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Austrianthe Baker'S Shop, Cairo beobachtet, die im April 2018 für GBP 162.500,00 (€ 185.070,19) versteigert wurde.
