Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern & Contemporary African Art, which included the work Germantricky by Ransome Stanley. The price achieved of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,827.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Other works by Ransome Stanley have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2018 the work German chamber was auctioned for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,162.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Modern & Contemporary African Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Germantricky von Ransome Stanley zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.827,57) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden.
