A top price for Ramón Pou
In June 2003 Christies in London held the auction Boulle to Jansen: An Important Private European Collection, which included the work The Spanish brigantine Catalina at sea by Ramón Pou. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,792.50 (€ 2,575.92), 20% above the upper estimate. With this result, The Spanish brigantine Catalina at sea is even the most expensive work of art by Ramón Pou that we have observed at auctions so far.
