A top price for Ram Gopal Vijayvargiya - as previously expected
In October 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art, which included the work Untitled (At Bath); Untitled (Bridal Car) by Ram Gopal Vijayvargiya. The price achieved of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,392.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Untitled (At Bath); Untitled (Bridal Car) is the most expensive artwork by Ram Gopal Vijayvargiya that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Oktober 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (At Bath); Untitled (Bridal Car) von Ram Gopal Vijayvargiya zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 8.392,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Untitled (At Bath); Untitled (Bridal Car) das teuerste Kunstwerk von Ram Gopal Vijayvargiya, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
