Auction result well in line with expectations
In January this year Bonhams held the auction Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online, which included the work The Bull by Rakan Dabdoub. The price achieved of GBP 1,020.00 (€ 1,157.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rakan Dabdoub achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Al Kifah wa Al Samt (The Struggle and the Silence) in March 2017 with an auction result of USD 47,500.00 (€ 44,400.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Bull von Rakan Dabdoub zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.020,00 (€ 1.157,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rakan Dabdoub erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Al Kifah wa Al Samt (The Struggle and the Silence) im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 47.500,00 (€ 44.400,82).
