Auction result well in line with expectations
In July last year Bonhams in London held the auction Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art Online, which included the work Himalayan Odyssey - Sunrise by Raja Changez Sultan. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,912.50 (€ 2,283.86) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Other works by Raja Changez Sultan have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May last year the work Himalayan Odyssey was auctioned for GBP 2,040.00 (€ 2,399.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Himalayan Odyssey - Sunrise von Raja Changez Sultan zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.912,50 (€ 2.283,86) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Raja Changez Sultan konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai letzten Jahres die Arbeit Himalayan Odyssey für GBP 2.040,00 (€ 2.399,87) versteigert.
