Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Raimundo de Oliveira achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in May 2013. In the Latin American Art auction, the work Deus mostra o caminho de fogo a Moisés sold for USD 50,000.00 (€ 38,497.07) - well above the upper estimate of USD 22,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Raimundo de Oliveira; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Pesca Milagrosa sold at auction in September last year with the realized price of USD 63,000.00 (€ 64,397.42).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Raimundo de Oliveira erzielte im Mai 2013 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Latin American Art wurde die Arbeit Deus mostra o caminho de fogo a Moisés für USD 50.000,00 (€ 38.497,07) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 22.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Raimundo de Oliveira; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Pesca Milagrosa im September letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 63.000,00 (€ 64.397,42).
