Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work Italian fishermen at dusk by Raimondo Scoppa for GBP 720.00 (€ 1,069.22). This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century European Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Raimondo Scoppa have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in March 2008 by the work On the quay, Naples at GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,570.31).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Italian fishermen at dusk von Raimondo Scoppa für GBP 720,00 (€ 1.069,22) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Andere Arbeiten von Raimondo Scoppa wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im März 2008 die Arbeit On the quay, Naples mit GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.570,31).
