Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Sketch from the Louvre, 1935 by Ragnhild Keyser was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in November last year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 15,000.00 – 18,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 12,000.00 (€ 1,093.87). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ragnhild Keyser achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Signal" in October 2009 with an auction result of SEK 420,000.00 (€ 40,363.27).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Sketch from the Louvre, 1935 von Ragnhild Keyser im November letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 15.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 12.000,00 (€ 1.093,87) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ragnhild Keyser erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Signal" im Oktober 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 420.000,00 (€ 40.363,27).
