Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Wooded landscapes by Raffaelo Armenise was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,750.00 (€ 2,283.57) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Raffaelo Armenise - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The young goatherds, which sold at auction in May 2007 for GBP 4,320.00 (€ 6,357.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Wooded landscapes von Raffaelo Armenise kam im Mai 2016 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.750,00 (€ 2.283,57) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Raffaelo Armenise mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The young goatherds beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für GBP 4.320,00 (€ 6.357,17) versteigert wurde.
