Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La Basilica di Agliate by Raffaele de Grada was sold in the Dipinti e sculture XIX e XX Secolo auction at Il Ponte in May 2018. The price achieved of EUR 950.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 900.00 – 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Raffaele de Grada achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bergn (Engadina) in May 2000 with an auction result of ITL 22,325,000.00 (€ 19,146.66).
