In March 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures, which included the work Italian Fishermen Resting In The Bay Of Naples by Raffaele Carelli. The result of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 5,024.99) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Raffaele Carelli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tarantella allo Scoglio di Frisio, 1830 in November 2002 with an auction result of EUR 160,100.00.

Im März 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion British and Continental Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Italian Fishermen Resting In The Bay Of Naples von Raffaele Carelli zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 5.024,99) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Raffaele Carelli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tarantella allo Scoglio di Frisio, 1830 im November 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 160.100,00.
