Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 343 Almas by Rafa Macarrón was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in May this year. The price achieved of HKD 1,016,000.00 (€ 121,778.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 800,000.00 – 1,200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Rafa Macarrón have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Matilda in April last year with an auction result of HKD 4,032,000.00 (€ 487,498.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 343 Almas von Rafa Macarrón kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.016.000,00 (€ 121.778,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 800.000,00 – 1.200.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rafa Macarrón auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Matilda im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.032.000,00 (€ 487.498,15).
