In June 2014 Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Armatura by Rabarama. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 4,000.00 33% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Rabarama have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Apres in October 2010 with an auction result of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,501.58).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 33 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2014 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Armatura von Rabarama zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 4.000,00 und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rabarama auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Apres im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 24.501,58).
