Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Ra'anan Levy achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in November 2009. In the Israeli and International Art auction, the work Nude sold for USD 16,250.00 (€ 10,837.67) - well above the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ra'anan Levy; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Permanent Red, Desert Window sold at auction in December 2013 with the realized price of USD 23,750.00 (€ 17,236.37).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ra'anan Levy erzielte im November 2009 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Israeli and International Art wurde die Arbeit Nude für USD 16.250,00 (€ 10.837,67) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Ra'anan Levy; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Permanent Red, Desert Window im Dezember 2013 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 23.750,00 (€ 17.236,37).
