Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cork And Feathers; And Good-Lack! Sic by R. Marshall was auctioned at Christies in New York in April 2005. The price achieved of USD 1,020.00 (€ 789.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Other works by R. Marshall have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2007 the work A naval engagement was auctioned for USD 1,320.00 (€ 986.99).
