A top price for Quan Shanshi - as previously expected
In May 2011 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included the work Tajik Maiden by Quan Shanshi. The price achieved of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 44,727.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Tajik Maiden is the most expensive artwork by Quan Shanshi that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Mai 2011 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tajik Maiden von Quan Shanshi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 44.727,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Tajik Maiden das teuerste Kunstwerk von Quan Shanshi, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
