Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Qin Feng could be acquired at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Origo Collection — Contemporary Ink Art auction, the work Civilization Landscape I changed hands for HKD 437,500.00 (€ 49,290.93) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 450,000.00 – 750,000.00. Admittedly, works by Qin Feng have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Four Seasons in November 2015 with an auction result of HKD 2,800,000.00 (€ 341,980.69).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Qin Feng konnte im April 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The Origo Collection — Contemporary Ink Art wechselte die Arbeit Civilization Landscape I für HKD 437.500,00 (€ 49.290,93) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 450.000,00 – 750.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Qin Feng auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Four Seasons im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.800.000,00 (€ 341.980,69).
