Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Impossible thoughts - 17 by Qian Jiahua was auctioned at Christies in Shanghai in October 2016. The price achieved of CNY 60,000.00 (€ 8,078.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Qian Jiahua - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 23:35, which sold at auction in October 2015 for CNY 118,750.00 (€ 17,024.20).

Die Arbeit Impossible thoughts - 17 von Qian Jiahua kam im Oktober 2016 bei Christies in Shanghai zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 60.000,00 (€ 8.078,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Qian Jiahua mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 23:35 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für CNY 118.750,00 (€ 17.024,20) versteigert wurde.
