Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Horse Riding by Qian Feng was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 40,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,383.26) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qian Feng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Letters in September 2013 with an auction result of USD 137,000.00 (€ 101,219.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Horse Riding von Qian Feng kam im November 2017 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.383,26) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qian Feng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Letters im September 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 137.000,00 (€ 101.219,06).
