The auction ended at the price of USD 15,000.00 (€ 11,878.37), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 12,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Qian Feng have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Letters in September 2013 with an auction result of USD 137,000.00 (€ 101,219.06).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Regular Script von Qian Feng kam im September 2014 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 11.878,37) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 12.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Qian Feng auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Letters im September 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 137.000,00 (€ 101.219,06).
