Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2014 Sothebys in New York held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy, which included the work Calligraphy In Regular Script by Qian Feng. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,125.00 (€ 5,897.51), 16% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qian Feng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Letters in September 2013 with an auction result of USD 137,000.00 (€ 101,219.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2014 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy In Regular Script von Qian Feng zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 5.897,51) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qian Feng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Letters im September 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 137.000,00 (€ 101.219,06).
