Sold at the lower estimate price
In October 2014 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Calligraphy Couplet In Xingshu by Qian Feng. The result of HKD 40,000.00 (€ 4,118.12) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qian Feng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Letters in September 2013 with an auction result of USD 137,000.00 (€ 101,219.06).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Oktober 2014 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Xingshu von Qian Feng zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 40.000,00 (€ 4.118,12) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qian Feng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Letters im September 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 137.000,00 (€ 101.219,06).
