The work Calligraphy After The Two Wangs by Qi Ying was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in April 2004. It achieved a price of HKD 131,450.00 (€ 8,532.60), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 31%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Qi Ying - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy, which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 28,800.00 (€ 29,410.43).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy After The Two Wangs von Qi Ying kam im April 2004 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 131.450,00 (€ 8.532,60) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 31%. Für andere Arbeiten von Qi Ying mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 28.800,00 (€ 29.410,43) versteigert wurde.
