A top price for Qi Dakui - as previously expected
The work Houses Among Cliffs by Qi Dakui was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2016. The price achieved of USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,668.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Houses Among Cliffs is the most expensive artwork by Qi Dakui that we have observed at auctions so far.
