In June this year Bonhams in London held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Plum Blossoms Under The Moonlight by Pu Ru. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 217,600.00 (€ 25,426.52), 45% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pu Ru achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Album of Paintings and Calligraphy in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 21,725,000.00 (€ 2,380,265.84).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 45 % übertroffen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Plum Blossoms Under The Moonlight von Pu Ru zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 217.600,00 (€ 25.426,52) und damit 45% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pu Ru erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Album of Paintings and Calligraphy im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 21.725.000,00 (€ 2.380.265,84).
