This artwork by Pu Ru achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2017. In the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction, the work Autumn Landscape sold for HKD 600,000.00 (€ 68,511.93) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pu Ru achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Album of Paintings and Calligraphy in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 21,725,000.00 (€ 2,380,265.84).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pu Ru erzielte im Mai 2017 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings wurde die Arbeit Autumn Landscape für HKD 600.000,00 (€ 68.511,93) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 300.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pu Ru erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Album of Paintings and Calligraphy im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 21.725.000,00 (€ 2.380.265,84).
