A top price for Pu Jingqiu - as previously expected
In October 2020 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Butterflies By Flowers by Pu Jingqiu. The price achieved of HKD 35,280.00 (€ 3,907.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 28,000.00 – 38,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Butterflies By Flowers is the most expensive artwork by Pu Jingqiu that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Oktober 2020 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Butterflies By Flowers von Pu Jingqiu zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 35.280,00 (€ 3.907,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 28.000,00 – 38.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Butterflies By Flowers das teuerste Kunstwerk von Pu Jingqiu, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
