This artwork by Pu Hua achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in October 2021. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Lotus sold for HKD 98,400.00 (€ 10,945.64) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pu Hua achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bamboo in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 3,200,000.00 (€ 373,845.32).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 97 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pu Hua erzielte im Oktober 2021 bei China Guardian einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Lotus für HKD 98.400,00 (€ 10.945,64) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pu Hua erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bamboo im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.200.000,00 (€ 373.845,32).
