A top price for The "Pseudo van Kessel" - as previously expected
The work An Allegory of Spring with signs of the Zodiac; and An Allegory of Summer with signs of the Zodiac by The "Pseudo van Kessel" was sold in the Old Master Pictures auction at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2007. The price achieved of EUR 54,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, An Allegory of Spring with signs of the Zodiac; and An Allegory of Summer with signs of the Zodiac is the most expensive artwork by The "Pseudo van Kessel" that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit An Allegory of Spring with signs of the Zodiac; and An Allegory of Summer with signs of the Zodiac von The "Pseudo van Kessel" wurde im Mai 2007 in der Auktion Old Master Pictures bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 54.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist An Allegory of Spring with signs of the Zodiac; and An Allegory of Summer with signs of the Zodiac das teuerste Kunstwerk von The "Pseudo van Kessel", das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
