A top price for Nassar Mansour - as previously expected
The work Ayat Al-Kursi by Nassar Mansour was auctioned at Sothebys in Doha in December 2010. The price achieved of USD 25,000.00 (€ 18,840.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Ayat Al-Kursi is the most expensive artwork by Nassar Mansour that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Ayat Al-Kursi von Nassar Mansour kam im Dezember 2010 bei Sothebys in Doha zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 18.840,91) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Ayat Al-Kursi das teuerste Kunstwerk von Nassar Mansour, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
