Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Pratuang Emjaroen achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in December last year. In the 20th Century Art Day Sale auction, the work The Symphony of the Universe sold for HKD 1,008,000.00 (€ 120,794.17) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 500,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pratuang Emjaroen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Symphony of the Universe in November this year with an auction result of HKD 6,048,000.00 (€ 709,702.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pratuang Emjaroen erzielte im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit The Symphony of the Universe für HKD 1.008.000,00 (€ 120.794,17) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 500.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pratuang Emjaroen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Symphony of the Universe im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.048.000,00 (€ 709.702,97).
