In May 2019 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Morning Session), which included the work Happiness In The Field by Pratuang Emjaroen. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 225,000.00 (€ 25,751.19), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pratuang Emjaroen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Symphony of the Universe in November this year with an auction result of HKD 6,048,000.00 (€ 709,702.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2019 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Morning Session) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Happiness In The Field von Pratuang Emjaroen zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 225.000,00 (€ 25.751,19) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pratuang Emjaroen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Symphony of the Universe im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.048.000,00 (€ 709.702,97).
