Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Prajakta Palav was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May 2008. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,360.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Prajakta Palav have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'A Rikshaw' in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 24,500.00 (€ 31,165.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Prajakta Palav kam im Mai 2008 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.360,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Prajakta Palav auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 'A Rikshaw' im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 24.500,00 (€ 31.165,07).
